The back up guitar is extreamly repetitive.

Maybe you could have some variations. Like the solo though good job. Drums were pretty cool as well.

apple32 responds:

i could do that ty for the reveiw

I ask the question...

What classifies this as classic rock?

Rig responds:

I answer the question...
Classical components + rock elements and arrangement = classical rock. Not classIC rock. ClassicAL rock.

Awesome!

This is awesome. I'm just not very fond of the lyrics and the vocals but the freakin' music is really good. I'd have some EQ adjustments so that the vocals can be heard better. But I really like the guitar and drums A LOT! Good Job Man.

theapollos responds:

Thanks. Haha, the equalization that the recording guy did was really crappy. And one of the reasons why this isn't really one of our major songs anymore is because of the lyrics. But thanks for the positive review, and we're glad you liked it.

Sweet!

Very well done. As a huge FF7 fan I liked it. You even managed to retain the PS1 feel. Hell yes dude.

Auron59 responds:

Cloud Rules!

Wow man.

I really like your stuff man. You sound great and the built up is nicely timed. Thanks for making this.

Ninjkabat responds:

Well, I'm glad you liked it. I planned on making a lot more a cappella stuff right after the two songs I have on right now, but I got side tracked with animations projects and then the start of the school term. I might be making another song in the near future, though, so keep an eye out for that.

I would've like some different chord changes.

I really like the one's you have (chords) but after a while I was waiting for it to change. Sounds nice though.

586rick responds:

thanks for the review.

Thank you for knowing what your doing!

It actually is funky with the title funky. I'm not trying to down on people but if it's not funk then don't put it in that catagory. This is FUNKY! Sweet deal man. Have you checked out the Toejam and Earl sound track? If not you should it is funk videogame.

Realmguys responds:

Thank you for knowing Funk style music too, most have no clue!

Did you do the instruments yourself?

Love the song. One of my favorite games EVER!

Realmguys responds:

Yeah just tracked it out on a synthesizer. Was very quick and easy. Thanks for the review!

lay off the reverb

yeah it's cool but I think the reverb is over done and also you miss a couple of notes when your singing. I like the guitar work though. Can you sing and play at the same time?

Naitzmic responds:

Ok, seriously... The title says "Unplugged".
There was no intentional reverb here.
The stupidly heavy echo is because the recording was taken
with a digital recorder, inside a freaking concrete basement.
Obviously I missed a couple of notes, while singing,
but honestly... I don't really care. I'm not a singer,
and I never intend to be.

And yes... I can sing and play at the same time.
I did this performance Alone!
If I had more people with me, you can trust that I
would have made them play drums/bass/additional guitars.

Kinda Zero7-ish

I like the way it sounds. I would've like the first solo to be a bit longer but the solo was alright dude. The second solo was good and the transition into orchestra was cool. Drums are cool, classic beat. Overall a pretty damn good job do you like it?

snayk responds:

I don't understand what you mean by Zero7. Another musician? I don't know.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yes, I'm quite happy with the way it turned out :)
